Kaiʻama is the older name for Kamiloiki Valley.
Kaiʻama means mullet sea. This name is probably in direct reference
to Keahupua O Maunalua Fishpond. The largerst fishpond
in all of Hawai'i which spanned 523 acres.
Lit., Small Ka-Milo. (Pukui, Elbert, Moʻokini)
