Kamiloiki

Kaiʻama is the older name for Kamiloiki Valley.

Kaiʻama means mullet sea.  This name is probably in direct reference

to the Maunalua Fishpond.  The largest fishpond

in all of Hawai'i which spanned 523 acres.

Lit., Small Ka-Milo. (Pukui, Elbert, Moʻokini)
